I'm inspired!

Miss Brigitte Bardot has inspired everyone from Andy Warhol, to The Beatles, & now Beyonce', Jay-Z and Robin Thicke.
I'm thinking of a photo shoot with a sultry, sexy model and lots of lashes and eyeliner!

Temptu Personal Airbrush System

This is on my Christmas list and I can not wait to unwrap this little puppy!

This great airbrushing tool is perfect for that immaculate look we all want. Unlike the huge airbrushing systems with large compressors and guns you have to clean after each use, this compressor is small and uses foundation pods that click in and out very easily.
Because the Foundation pods are a bit expensive, I wouldn't recommend using this as your job airbrushing system. It is nice to have your own personal airbrushing machine to get your makeup done easy and looking picture perfect!

Futuristic

Working on make-up for this album cover was great, trying to figure out how to best apply this type of makeup was the funnest to me.
This look is great and I'm thinking of doing another shoot like this in GOLD!!!!

Bare Escentuals

Usually, I find this product at Sephora.
I faithfully use Bare Minerals Foundation Primer (AMAZING!) skin feels so soft and definitely helps fill in wrinkles and imperfections before applying foundation.

When I walked into the South Coast Plaza this weekend I was pleasantly surprised to see the actual Bare Escentuals store! I absolutely fell in love with the shadows. They are really high pigmented, the colors are BEAUTIFUL, are easy to blend, and my favorite...You can mix the colors!
You can also wear it dry for that feathery look, or wet for a darker, fiercer eye makeup!

I want each and every color in these and they are only 13 dollar$!

I love this Sculpting Disc by Sephora!
It is perfect for that highlight and shadow that will leave you looking STRIKING!
The brown color is not too harsh and creates a great chiseled face illusion and along with the highlight can really pop your cheekbones...then a little bit of highlight down your nose and Voilá!!!

Marc Jacobs & Louis Vuitton

Inspiration...

When I think of color schemes or concepts for make-up, my thoughts are reverting to some things I have seen in the past...Maybe an old album cover caught my attention, or the sky looked a certain color on a beautiful evening...or maybe a color scheme that was used in a great music video struck a chord or a certain feeling within me...anything from commercials to nature or even other artists inspire my creativity....

I saw this documentary a few years back and realized how similar my thought process was to that of Marc Jacobs'...it was so inspiring and led me to express myself and my thoughts and ideas through my own art...MAKEUPBYNEIDA!

I would like to share this with you... It is only part 2 but I suggest you don't miss out on seeing the entire thing.
